Some days I wonder if I was ready to start a blog. Why?Well, for one, I don't have a name for it yet.And two, I don't really have a defined purpose. But maybe that's okay! I once heard a story that when Benjamin Franklin observed one of the first hot-air balloon flights in 1783, someone asked him skeptically what the use of this new invention of flight could possibly be. Franklin responded with, "What is the use of a newborn child?"Touché.So like a newborn child, I am nurturing this blog until its identity forms naturally. And until then, like a newborn child, I just hope it brings you happiness and inspiration. Thanks for sticking it out with me!Benjamin Franklin is super inspirational. This is my interpretation of my favorite quote of his.Tell me, who inspires you most?
Social networking services like Twitter are more addictive than cigarettes or alcohol. So says a study by the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. And I wouldn’t argue. In fact, I think Twitter is the gateway drug to blogging.I’ve never been one with words. English papers were always my worst nightmare. But in the summer of 2010, I signed up for a little thing called Twitter. It has allowed me to express my thoughts in small snippets. And it’s safe to say that I’m addicted. Two years later, I feel the desire to expand upon my measly 140 character tweets. So here I am. Blogging. Stay tuned for more!Tell me, how did you get into blogging?
